picnic with the mouse. he turns out not to be much of a mouse but a very tricky individual. All said in a nice way. From the photo, he doesn’t look that happy to have a picnic with me. Btw, i helped N with photo-taking for an article he wrote. and turns out the local newspaper is using it so i am going to be TEN EUROS RICHER! drinks for everyone!!!! okay, i kid.
After Gouda Cheese, Salami, Ham, Mini Salami, Yoghurt, Blueberries, Sunflower Bread and Hardboiled eggs later, We indulged in chocolate and lay down on the scandinavian airlines blanket and chilled and chilled and chilled til i started to turn a little pink. Good timing skin, it was time to go to the “zoo”. Ah been there and done that so it was N’s turn to look around. It’s pretty nice to have a german translate the signs to you and as they do that, they search frantically in their head for the word. most of the time it is a guessing game between me and them.
All that aside, i took a walk by the neckar alone after N left for football. I had to take the tram and had to wait by a pathetic tram stop. Mannheim has more to offer like the dogs that run/charge into my while i squat on the floor for a photo. if you were on higher ground it would have been funny to watch. Worthwhile time wasted. Wind blowing from this direction(points to right) and sun just behind me. Don’t worry mom, i’m not trying to get tanned. i know how she gets real uptight about my complexion. This reminds me that i have to buy sunscreen.
